Ariah turned around, a smile on her face. “Hi!” She waved. “You’re in Ba Sing Se!”
Oh, it was so good to hear a friendly voice. It had been awhile since that had happened ever since she’d begun asking these kinds of questions. “Ba Sing Se,” she repeated slowly as she came closer to the other girl, trying to pronounce it correctly. “Thanks loads, by the way! I may’ve just won a bet.”
Her smile widened at the other. “The Earth Kingdom’s capital!” She beamed up at her. “Anytime! Eh..bet? What bet?”
“Why not Alex? It’s a name, too, right? Though either of those names are good!”
“I dunno, they just always called me Xander!” He giggled.
“Fun, fun, fun!” She grinned.
“Yeah,” he replied quietly. “It was called Gallifrey. And it doesn’t matter what happened—all that matters is right here and right now! So! Let’s play! You go first.”
“I like that name, Gallifrey.” She giggled, nodding in agreement. “Yay! Wait, go first as in hide first or seek first?”
